POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. N.Y. – Pamela Jean Johannssen, a resident of Valrico, Fla and formerly of Poughkeepsie., died Monday, July 18. She was 63.
She was an energetic and fun-loving person who was adored for her spunky, outgoing personality.
She is survived by her husband Carl Johannssen; brother John Hare; children, Brother John-Mary, CFP (Christopher Johannssen), Lisa Johnson and Sarah Allen; grandchildren Christopher Johnson, Michael Johnson, Grace Allen, Lauren Allen; and a host of friends.
A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Saint Peter’s Cemetery in Poughkeepsie. Friends and family are encouraged to gather at Shadows on the Hudson following the burial service.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks you make a donation to the Franciscan Friars of the Renewal to support their charitable work with the poor.
